Know Before You Go

  • Buyers wanting a uniform suburban environmentHousing condition, street character and market values vary substantially by pocket.
  • People who want mostly newer constructionThe housing stock is predominantly older and often requires careful condition review.
  • People wanting a turnkey search with little neighborhood homeworkPrice Hill rewards buyers who compare subareas, streets and property condition carefully.

Our Take

Price Hill is too large and internally varied to treat as one uniform neighborhood. Its strengths are historic architecture, affordability, west-side institutions and hilltop views, but housing condition and street-level experience can change quickly between East, West and Lower Price Hill. The right way to evaluate it is block by block rather than relying on a single neighborhood-wide average.

Homes & Neighborhoods

Redfin tracks Price Hill in separate submarkets rather than as one uniform neighborhood. In July 2026, East Price Hill's three-month median was $154,947, up 8.0% year over year; West Price Hill was $190,935, down 0.81%; and Lower Price Hill was about $203,000, up roughly 12%, but on very low sales volume. Queen City Guide uses a range here because housing conditions, property types and block-by-block values vary substantially across Price Hill.
